Studio Art III

Grades 10-12

Students hone their drawing skills through observational drawing during the beginning of the course.  Important developments in 20th century art such as cubism, surrealism and abstraction are further explored, and students research and create artwork in each of the major styles. Looking at art from many periods and styles will help students to begin to develop a style of their own, which they will explore during the last section of the course.
