About Mrs. Kostich
In the classroom, my main goal is not only to reach students with artistic interest and help them grow and develop, but to reach all students no matter where their interests lie. I emphasize the connection that art has with everything else in the world. The Fibonacci sequence or the Golden Ratio, for example, connects art, math, science, and history. I also reference the Studio Habits of Mind and explain that all of these behaviors are interchangeable: they will be beneficial to students in any subject in school, in any career path they choose, and for any goal they choose to strive for.
